Questions, answered

What technicians ask about Pay tracking + PayTrack.

Practical details before you put the feature to work.

How are estimated earnings calculated?

Flat Rate Tracker applies your saved pay settings to the work you flag in the selected period. It supports fixed rate, unlocking tiers, commission, and hours-only tracking.

What is the difference between pay tracking and PayTrack?

Core pay tracking estimates earnings from your flagged work. PayTrack is the Pro feature that compares that expected record with the hours and gross pay you enter from a pay stub.

Can I compare flagged hours with paid hours?

Yes. PayTrack compares your tracked hours with the pay stub hours you enter and shows the difference for that period.

Do I need Pro to track estimated earnings?

No. Expected earnings from your tracked work are included with Solo. Pro or Team is required for PayTrack pay stub comparisons.

Does PayTrack connect to my employer’s payroll?

No. You enter the relevant hours and gross pay from your pay stub. PayTrack does not access or change your employer’s payroll system.
